offers four convenient methods to order your furniture:

When ordering,
please specify the following information:
- Product
code
- Product name or description
- Specifications such as color, functionality, texture, etc.
- Quantity desired
Also,
we will need the following information from you:
- Your
name
- Telephone number, fax number and/or e-mail address, if you
would like us to confirm your order via one of these methods).
No matter
what ordering option you use, a customer service representative
will contact you to review your order and confirm delivery
time, shipping options and payment.
Although,
Mi Casita offers a wide selection of styles, functionality
and colors, it is impossible to have them all in stock at
our Ottawa warehouse. If the piece you are looking for is
in stock, it will be shipped to you within five business days.
If the model or the color is not available, delivery time
is between 4 and 12 weeks. We will confirm the intended delivery
time upon reviewing your order.

Custom
Made
In
addition, if none of the pieces in our catalogue fits your
taste or functional needs, Mi Casita offers you custom-made
furniture at affordable prices. The piece of your dreams in
terms of design, dimensions, functionality, wood, color, finish
and other applications such as carving, hand painting, marble,
ceramic tile, wrought or cast iron and more are available
to you within our average eight week delivery time.
Just
send us a sketch, photo or simply give us a call to discuss
the dimensions and basic functionality you are looking for
and we will provide you with a price estimate within 48 hours.
If you decide to go ahead with the order, we will send you
a three-dimensional design for your approval before proceeding
with the production of your piece. We require a 40% deposit
and the balance is paid after we notify you that your piece
has arrived at our warehouse and is ready for delivery.
Although
we can reproduce practically any piece of furniture, please
keep in mind that our custom-made service searches to satisfy
your needs in terms of size, functionality, style, color and
finish. However, some details like moldings, hinges and knobs,
carving in general and the like are at the discretion of Mi
Casita, unless clearly specified.

Payment Options
We
accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Pay Pal, direct
bank deposits, personal checks and money orders but we do
not accept C.O.D. requests. If paying by personal check, Mi
Casita reserves the right to hold your merchandise until payment
has cleared our bank. There is a $25 fee for all returned
checks.
Shipping & Delivery
Mi
Casita offers you different delivery options depending on
the destination. Our prices do not include shipping charges.
We can ship anywhere in Canada and mainland United States.
If
you are in the Ottawa region, you might want to pick up your furniture yourself and take a look
at our in store inventory at the same time. Otherwise, we
can arrange for delivery for a fee.
For
shipping to other parts of Canada and the United States, we
will research the best possible shipping rates and we invite
you to do the same. In most cases you can expect to pay between
10% to 20%, of your order, in shipping. We will let you know
the options available to you and the associated costs at the
time of confirming your order.
Unless
specific arrangements with a customer service representative
of Mi Casita have been made, basic delivery fees cover service
to your carport, driveway or garage, only. Most freight charges
do not include service inside your home, delivery before or
after regular working hours, or delivery on weekends.
We
use extreme care when packaging our merchandise. In the unlikely
event that a package arrives damaged (e.g. dented, torn, crushed,
etc.), please note this on the driver’s delivery slip
at the time of arrival. Refuse delivery of any merchandise
that is visibly damaged. If damage is discovered after the
driver has left, or an item is missing from your shipment,
save all packaging materials and call us immediately. Mi Casita
will file all necessary claims with the shipping company and
send replacements to you.

Customer
Service
Mi
Casita is dedicated to providing customers with a superior
level of service. You may either contact us by e-mail or by
calling us at (613) 321-1800. Phone calls will be answered
during regular store hours. If you receive a recording, please
leave a message and we will return your call as quickly as
possible. E-mails will also be answered promptly (typically
within 24 hours or less) as we are eager to assist you with
any questions you may have.
Warranty & Returns
Mi Casita warrantees its furniture to be free from defects
in materials and construction for a period of one year from
the date of purchase. In case of a manufacturing defect, Mi
Casita will either issue a merchandise credit commensurate
with the diminishment of the item’s structural integrity,
or by repairing or replacing the item at no charge with the
same item or one of equal value. The options made available
to our clients will be based upon the extent of the defect
and assumes the item is found to be defective under normal,
non-commercial household use. Some imperfections including
cracks, surface markings as a result of shipping, and
color variations are normal and are not defects.
Also,
if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you
may return or exchange it in satisfactory condition within
seven days of receipt and receive a complete refund less applicable
charges. The furniture must be returned in its original condition.
All items returned will incur a 25% restocking fee. All return
shipping charges, however, are non-refundable.
In
the case of custom-made furniture, any order can be cancelled
without charges within five days from the date the order was
confirmed by a customer service representative. However, some
restrictions apply when dealing with priority or special orders,
which are processed immediately. A restocking fee of
25% will be charged when a cancellation is made outside the
specified or agreed cancellation period or if you are not
completely satisfied.
